A day out to the farm
Spend the day picking sunflowers in the countryside
Visit our family farm at Sutton on the Forest near York, to pick sunflowers and vegetables, straight from the field and play on our climbing frames and sand pit.
What to expect
Explore the fun: play area, sandpit, climbing frames and more!
Our play area will keep the kids entertained for hours while you get to enjoy some sunshine and a drink from the cafe!
A real North Yorkshire farm
We are nestled into the landscape just north of York. Surrounded by fields, nature and the beautiful Yorkshire landscape. We are a genuine working, family farm, where you’ll often see the tractors working the land whilst you pick your sunflowers or buy our homegrown veg for your tea.

We not only offer pick your own sunflowers, but also have beautiful cut flowers and a wild flower patch too!
🐕 Dogs Welcome
Well behaved dogs are welcome to visit, if on a lead.

Our hard standing car park is free to use.

Pick your own and buy our home grown local produce, such as potatoes, sweetcorn, carrots!
🧺 Picnics Welcome
You are welcome to bring your own picnic and find a nice spot to eat! We have picnic benches or you can bring a blanket.
🛝 Playground
Children’s playground with, swings, slides, climbing frames and a giant sand pit!
☕️ Cafe
Cafe serving hot drinks, cakes, ice cream, as well as local food trucks serving pizza, burgers and more!
Please note the cafe is not open during September
